Look over at the vbadvanced forums, there was a thread I think with a couple of xml type feeds that woudl give you a simple graphic with the weather in it. You could use a profile field for the zip.
There's also an awesome weahther program, weatherbug I think, and I think someone had a vb integration for it at one point. Sorry I dont have links, I am going off memory when I searched this a while back. |

I wouldn't bother with the vbweather module
I've just tried to go and get it with a view to adding it to several stes. The problem is you can't view screenshots until you register. Then when you register you have use the awful character recognition (got it wrong three times) AND complete a question about who the administrator is...which obviously hardly any visitor willl know without going and looking for it on the main site Once you've registered you have to find the link for the product, and I didn't find it. You can't PM the admin. There's no email link, and when you post you have to wait for it to be moderated. Looks like no-one answers the hello threads I've never seen anthing like it on any vb site. It's not at all customer-focused and it makes me wonder if the product and aftersales will be just the same Stu |
