Integration with vBulletin - Dutch iDEAL (merchant plugin) payment API for paid subscriptions

This mod will enable you to enable users to pay for paid subscriptions using iDEAL Advanced (fully implemented into your forum)

Payment

Step 1: select a bank in The Netherlands to pay with:




Step 2: perform the payment




Step 3: payment completed or ... (detailed error message)













Installation

1. Apply and install iDEAL for merchants (this plugin is based on iDEAL Advanced from the Postbank, however, it should work with the solutions of other banks aswell as iDEAL is managed by just one bank: ING Bank)
   • Note: the directory must be /ideal/ (from your forum root)
2. Install the included product XML
3. Install the Dutch phrases for the product
4. Upload class_ideal.php to /includes/paymentapi/
5. Add the payment API via the admincp
   1. Paid subscriptions -> Add New Payment API
   2. title: iDEAL
   3. classname: ideal
   4. Supported Currency: eur
   5. Supports Recurring Payments: no

iDEAL provides a test server to test the payment API.

It should also be possible to use the iDEAL service of any other bank (the service is managed by just one bank: ). While postbank may not charge setupcosts or service costs, they do charge 0.75 euro per transaction.

iDEAL wordt per transactie afgerekend. Er worden geen aansluitkosten en maandelijkse kosten gerekend. Transactiekosten worden berekend volgens deze staffel:

tot 500: € 0,75
501- 1000: € 0,70
1001-1500: € 0,65

Heeft u meer dan 1.500 transacties, wensen voor internationale betalingen of integratie met Twyp? Bel dan met Postbank Zakelijk: (020) 565 50 10.

I'm trying to install the plugin, but I cannot get the API installed. I simply do not have this menu item as described in step5:

1.Paid subscriptions -> Add New Payment API

I'm also not quite sure what you mean by: "1.Apply and install iDEAL for merchants ". I'm using Rabo InternetKassa (based on iDeal), but what is it you need to install additionally to this plugin?

Rabo internetkassa accepteert ook betalingen via credit card en werkt dus mogelijk anders dan iDEAL Advanced van de postbank.

Ik ben geen expert op het gebied van iDeal en heb enkel ervaring met iDeal Easy en iDeal advanced van de postbank.

Met iDeal Easy kun je een link opnemen naar een betaal pagina van de postbank, met iDeal Advanced kun je het betaalsysteem en de verwerking van de betalingen volledig in je eigen systeem integreren.

De vBulletin plugin is gebaseerd op iDeal Advanced van de postbank, en verwerkt de betalingen volledig automatisch.

Met enige aanpassingen zal het natuurlijk ook geschikt gemaakt kunnen worden voor andere betaal systemen waaronder de Rabobank Internetkassa.

I have the same problem, using vbulletin 3.7.0 . I have no option to ad an Payment API.. I have ING Advanced
