Hi,
I was wondering how the 3.8 section shall be handled for our mods. Most of the 3.7 mods as someone said earlier in the thread will work on 3.8. As coders, what should we do : - Shall we add the mods in the 3.8 section again ? - Or shall we ask for a move of our mods with a redirection in the 3.7 section ? I personnally think the second solution would be better to manage for coders as we wouldn't have to go to do support in 2 different threads for the same mod... And if the mods are not moved to the 3.8 section, users will think that the mod doesn't work on 3.8 which would also be stupid. What is the status of the vB.org team on that subject ? |

As it stands you have the two options you posted, you can either create a new 3.8 version (which I will be doing), or you can ask for your existing thread to be moved, and add a note it works in 3.7 also.

In the case of a move, would there be a redirection link in the 3.7 forum ?

We never place redirects inside the modification forums, and rarely in the normal forums.
