The header should be not more than 100px tall and it should probably be a little wider, either around 700px or 950px wide. The black on dark olive is rather unreadable, and the background makes me a little dizzy so maybe try a solid color. These are the 3 main things I would work on for starters. It's a nice color combo, but it needs contrast in some spots so all the text is readable.
