Let's add 1 rule to this thread: Each member can only make 1 post in this thread.

Serious question:
What would limiting 1 post per member in this thread benefit, or prevent? Is it harming anything to the original idea that some have posted multiple links, or? What about members who hold more than one active license?

IMO, if rules need to even be set in this thread, it should be that the links posted can not contain offensive material, and that the ratings be constructive. But maybe I'm not seeing a larger picture here.

While I have no interest in posting in this topic, I'd say it should be one post per forum, as in one post per licensed vBulletin forum, not per user. That way, people with multiple can have ratings for each, those with one can have ratings for that, no spamming of the same board. Sound fair enough?

My Granny was right
the other day I left her watching my computer meanwhile I went out, when I returned she told me: 'You guys [vB Users] got too much brain to follow simple rules, that's why you never work as a team...'

Know I see what she meant

The problem with this is that it means if we only have one forum, we can only give one rating.

Or I could post and then say

I'VE ALREADY GOT A RATING

Which would break the thread considering my rating would be irrelevant as the next poster would have to rate it again or the forum that I rated.

It might be annoying if someone posts like 19 forums they own, or if someone keeps replying for ratings on there own, but who knows if it's beneficial in either case to the admin of those sites, who cares? Don't call it advertising either, because every post of mine could be considering advertising, well everyone elses' really since our forums our in our sigs.

I would like to know what you mean by shape?

You could always then uncheck the box to 'show your signature' after posting your forum once.

Yes, but once again, there is no point for those who have only one forum to rate anyone's other than one time only.

As I can't get another rating,

AND

Others will ignore my sig, which isn't a problem.

But that means as I said, they'll rate the one I rated as well.

Legion of Angels:

I'm not very religious. To be honest some forums I register at just for having a good personal finance topic even if it's off topic for their forum since I enjoy talking money with anyone and the more opinions I read the better. My super duper moderator loves the clouds background behind the forums. We both like the header image. I'm not a big fan of forum icon pictures but they seem to be a new thing that a low of newer forums are doing. I'm a simple guy and like my simple color change styles. I like the custom graphics for new thread, edit thread, etc. The FAQ link in the navbar can be removed if it's not being used.

I registered (and my moderator too) and will make a couple posts in threads that interest me.

My forum is a NY Forum called Discuss New York.

The next person can feel free to do the same and make a couple posts.

I think that's a nice addition to the thread if everyone makes a couple relevant posts too.

-Raymond
