This mod is no longer supported, Only the Pro version is supported.
NM Media is a Media Share/Store Center for vBulletin.
PS Media allows you to store videos on your forum. NM Media also allows you to share your videos with others.
Rundown on what NM Media does!!
PS Media lets you add categories, and within these categories, you can add videos. This version of NM Media only supports adding the link to the video to steam and store it. However as long as the format is supported, then it does not matter where the video is stored. If you have the link to the video file itself, then you can add it.
Adding to the features is the admins side of things. Admins have the ability to allow or disallow any usergroup from viewing the NM Media system, or even allowing them to add videos to the system using the front end form. And there is an option for the link to be automatically added to the navbar.
Also, the lite version, for now, only supports Windows Media Video(WMV), QuickTime(MOV), and Divx(divx) formats.
Future NM Media Lite Features
Add a front end form for adding categories.
Future NM Media Pro Features
Add a box to the show media page to show download links.
Add Mass Delete Options. (Movie and Category)
Add ability for admin to add support for more formats.
Add random video module on front page.
Add favorites system, similar to youtubes'.
Add custom user media profile system.
Add hooks to mod to allow for easy custom modifying.
Add admin setting to allow download, or streaming, or both.
Add more usergroup permissions.
Release of Premium mods.(Mods such as vbadvanced modules, for PaulSonny.com premium members.
This should be safe on an active board, however neither I nor any of the PS development team are liable for any problems caused by installing this on your active board. Installation Instructions
[] Upload all the files from the Upload folder.
[] Import product-psmedia.xml via the AdminCP.
[] Set Permissions for each usergroup via the AdminCP for PS Media.
[] Set Categories up via the AdminCP for PS Media.
If you do not have a navbar like the default then here is the code you would add to the navbar to add a link. Keep in mind this is code we would put in the default navbar.

What it's missing tho is search, comment and rating. If you can make yours do those three things without charging me for it, Ill switch and love you forever. lol Otherwise, I wont go through the trouble of switching.
Yes, it does look similar, but it's not even remotely comparible. vbtubePro is more of the youtube-ish type of mod.

Yes, my mod supports, sites like youtube, myspace, hulu, and images, and audio. I plan to add a rating system, and search. The pro version has a comment system already.

I think you misunderstood my reply. vbtubePro is practically a replica of youtube, ie. layout, configuration esthetics-wise. However, it allows you to embed the same sites as passive-vid (25 of them) like passive vid with browser links, and with Pro you can add allowable embeddable sites manually by altering code. You can also embed with standard embed code and upload to your own host with ffmpeg and host from your own site.
