$messagearea .......?

I was thinking about this last night, and it would be way easier to allow the user to check a box and make the whole post 'private' instead of just part of the post. Is there a reason you don't want to have them just do it that way?

ya the only reason i wanted to have like 2 text boxes there only for the conditioned user group was because i have never seen anything like that on any other site

and plus i though it would be alot easier to do maybe if there was a way to edit the $messagearea cause i though that the $messagearea was just a hidden template or something idk

but now that i see that its not just a hidden template it seems a little harder

the main reason i wanted to d it this way with 2 text boxes is cause most people dont look around for little spots that they can check to make it hidden

but it they see a second text box below the normal one that say
"Only VIP Members can see the content placed in this box"
or something like that

then useres will be more likly to use the option to hide text from other users and the other half of there post would still be hidden

if nobody wants to go through all the work for this then that cool with me
just show me a post or somthing that i can use to teach my self on how to do this and what all i need
i learn quick so anything would help realy
