[March 2008] BOTM Nomination Thread

This is the nomination thread for Board of the Month of March.

Please note the BOTM Rules here:

Nominations will be accepted until the 29th of February.

When nominating please post the site name, URL to the forum, a short description what makes your board stand out from default vBulletin, and a reason for nomination that will motivate others to second the nomination. If the staff feels that a nomination post is too promotional it will be edited accordingly.

Any sites without a name, URL, description and reason for nomination will NOT be entered into the poll. Please ensure that your nomination is in the format:

forum is a converted forum from phpbb
a phpbb style converted to vBulletin
a portal that is not standart can be switch off and on by users
many nice hacks/mods installed
all styles are based on black with small color modifications
like new postings have a color
links are colored when touched with the mouse

all this is done by a noob with no design or it background
i am not shure that the ads on the forum are in conflict with the rules
installed version is vB 3.6.8 PL2

Reason for Nomination: I visit here often, yet rarely see large sites focused on women's needs and issues. I think it would be nice that a board with 99.9% female members and all female admin be considered. We don't reject men, in fact we do have a couple of male members. They just don't want to talk about sewing and family as much as we seem to LOL

I'm not a programmer or coder, basically a stay at home mom, but have managed to get the site's graphics a unique look, and foster a sense of home with my members. We should be in the black this year which gives me a great deal of happiness and a feeling of accomplishment.

Reason for Nomination: A realtively young forum that is going from strength to strength. All the hacks are incorporated from Vbulletin.org that work well for our community and are pleasing on the eye. Forum content is everything from political to humour to sport to nostalgic chit chat (I suppose like every other forum out there!). A newbie entry for BOTM but I feel our design and content is of high quality.

The Logo is professional two arrows RED & Green & thats mean Stocks Arrow, the Climber is the sign of saudi arabia.
The Login Box is imazing its Red in color when you loged out & changing to Green whe you login.
Width is Fixed & the Reply , Views & Moderators section joined togather & when you click on the moderator section you can see the moderators names.
Whos online is cool specially with members names & the color they are using.
