I'd be all for a commercial releases forum. There are probably dozens of good commercial mods for vb that i've never heard of.

Depends. Personally, i'd go with some sort of solution whereby you have a forum for people to post comercial mods into but request that they provide a link/links to their own website for downloads and support. The post on vbulletin would literally only be an advertisment.

yep, totally see that. And nevermind mods with security issues. Too tricky for vb.org to get involved with
I once made the mistake of offering to sell a theme for a website of mine which I had discontinued, and I got a spamming infraction for it; I kind of scratched my head at that as the post was in the old review thread for the website, but I didn't bother objecting it. Having a paid sectionassuming it covers themes as wellwould have been handy in that situation, as I don't maintain a separate website to sell pre-made themes; all my jobs are one-off designs for clients.
