[BOTM November 2007] Nomination Thread

This is the nomination thread for Board of the Month of October.

Please note the BOTM Rules here:

Nominations will be accepted until the 31st of October. Also, please note, that the current voting thread for BOTM October will remain open as well until the 31th of October as well.

When nominating please post the site name, URL to the forum, a short description what makes your board stand out from default vBulletin, and a reason for nomination that will motivate others to second the nomination. If the staff feels that a nomination post is too promotional it will be edited accordingly.

Any sites without a name, URL, description and reason for nomination will NOT be entered into the poll. Please ensure that your nomination is in the format:

Description: The site is a anything goes type a place, were a nice inviting place. We have some fun mods installed, and some beautifull styles. Mixed with a few nice members its a pretty cool place.
Reason for Nomination: Ive been working very hard to make it the best I could. And it seems to be paying off, hope to hit the 400 member mark soon here.

Reason for Nomination: As we have a lot of features and as we have many people for a chessforum, I think that should be a reason for a Nomination.
The style is very pretty, you feel like your in Space, and yes you are, in SpaceChess!
We neraly have 1000 members now, and we?re going to grow healthy. We use many products to make the forum look better.

Reason for Nomination:
This forum has seen many changes using phpbb2, SMF and MyBB but now that it's using vBulletin it makes it all complete.

HardwareXL is a daily updated Technology and PC Hardware news and information site established in 2004. Our primary content is hardware reviews, but also articles on various tech subjects. We strive to have a fresh feel to our content, which is informative and enjoyable to read. Everyone involved with HardwareXL are technology freaks. We connect hardware junkies.

The design is very simple, with minimal styles changes (made to blend in the main joomla site as well) to keep the site looking attractive yet fast loading and simple to upgrade.

I would like to second SpaceChess.de for BOTM because of the futuristic design. I like this site because its space chess - what a unique concept! Its inventive and jazzy, and I am easily pleased - so I second this site.
