ForumMonkeys recently acquired vBmode, who offered this free vBulletin skin to the public. As the new owner of vBmode, I'd like to continue doing so. Why the new thread then? I was told by an admin here that I cannot take ownership of that thread, so this is my only option. The original thread is located here:
This is a free vBulletin skin product from VBMode.com and BulletinSkins.com. The "vBulletin skin by..." link may not be removed - branding free licenses can be obtained at: BulletinSkins.com . This skin may not be redistributed without explicit, written permission.
XML style files (Includes both fixed and fluid versions) (3.6.8)
LICENSE_and_instructions-VBM.txt with easy installation
Please click the install button if you use this style.
Thank you and enjoy!
Note: the former thread is *not* supported and the ZIP will *not* be updated. This is the new "official", supported thread.

Anyway you would provide the font to download?
Everything for this font is paid, and I'm not spending my money just to download a font to edit a logo.. otherwise I could just substitute the font. :P
just try "Arial" font, i tried it seems ok..

i thank you for the free skin and will take time to visit your site
but this will be uninstalled from my forums now due to link back on images and css
i will leave marked as installed incase you correct this
I'm testing it out. But it looks like a lot of the images paths in the css point to the vbmod website instead of the local server. My test server is not on the net and a lot of the images did not show up. This is how I noticed the problem.
This is being corrected. See below.

I agree 100%. As the new owner of vBmode, I did not code this skin and I did not notice that it was coded with absolute paths back to vBmode, which is, to be blunt, ridiculous. I will be updating the archive soon. I am pretty sure I got all the absolute paths changed to relative paths.

The font used I believe comes with certain Adobe products. You can substitute it for many fonts. As suggested, Arial is a close cousin.

If you can't get vBulletin's external.php functionality working for this, there's a couple of plugins here that will do the trick.

I just noticed this too. Lots of hooks are missing. What really needs to be done is to scour the templates for these missing hooks and manually add them. Unfortunately, I can't find the time just yet, but it will be on the list.
