Pretty much after I had installed the modification, that's what happens to it.

Only happens whenever I try to apply the changes for the Usergroup to see the Shoutbox. I dunno why.

Maybe to double check again, can you help me by showing where the files should be listed under? That would be helpful. Cause I do know that I followed the instructions that was provided, but maybe I slipped up somewhere.

If it is caused after you have installed a modification, this indicates it hasn't inserted a field into the database. You should contact the modification author.

Are you sure you don't have 1 of the following files on your system:
./includes/xml/bitfields_mgc.xml
./includes/xml/bitfields_mgc_chatbox.xml

Hey Marco, both of these files are located under the

<my domain>/forum/includes/xml/bitfield_mgc.xml
<my domain>/forum/includes/xml/bitfield_mgc_chatbox.xml

(Hence its not called 'bitfields' when I downloaded from one of the links suggested)

Also the files of... product-mgc_chatbox and product-mgc_bitfield_custom that were located under the 'P Folder', I uploaded them into the same folder because I thought that's what it meant to where it should be imported into.

What I was trying to do, I have like two templates. But before I stuff up the other template (which is in currently used right now) I thought to try out the default installation template that came with VBulletin so I could muck around and make sure I am doing the right thing.

Sorta like testing you know, just to make sure I can do it the first time but I seem to ran into a few problems with it right now. As in, everytime I want to set any Usergroup to 'view' the Shoutbox but I get that error message about the Database Error. Makes no sense as to why but yea.

Before I try to apply the same methods in another template, I'd like to see if I could get this one going though first.

Thanks for the suggestion btw Distmounted, I'll let the modification author know.

Sorry the bitfields was a typo.

If you have the modification installed, you should have these 2 files. If you have uninstalled (or not installed the product yet), then you should remove these 2 files, as they will give you the error you posted.

Fair enough, I tried it again the third time round and this time it worked. I made a note of what I did wrong, it was just a coding error on my part. Thanks for your help you guys

Oh by the way, I have another question. I'm puzzled at the moment as to why when I try to send a 'massive email' to all the users, they do not receive it. Neither a test or general email.

I was wondering, is there a way to solve this issue?

AdminCP -> Mainenance _> Diagnostics -> Email
