Matter of fact I can not uninstall, disable, edit or do anything through the manage products. Forum view is showing this error at the top of the page

In your config.php, add the line:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
Now, try to remove the product via the Product Manager. One finished, be sure to REMOVE the above line from your config.php!

Should it just be added at the bottom somewhere just like that or should there be a $ in front of it?

This seems to have caused conflict with several other hacks as well. God how do I get rid of it???
