Sorry but no. I will not reinstall to provide the errors. I followed the instructions and received such a mess that I will not do that again. It took me a long time to get the old files back for the older version of sitemap (which does not format to google's new standards).
Please provide an updated version of this sitemap for those of us using vb 3.0. Thank you. |

She is right. Even though I did not get any errors when I ran it for my old data archive that is running 3.0.6, it only produces the main forum URL link and the Archive link. Two links sent to Google. It did go though all the posts. (I have members off, and Polls off)
Trying it with... http://archive2.avsforum.com/avs-vb So something is not right for this version somehow. BTW...Your first screen shot is not something for this version. And either is the code mentioned above. |

Hello and greetings,
In the instructions, it states to use the "forum root folder" and the rule in the .htaccess file is using the "/" root folder. I have my vB installed in a subfolder called forums and vbportal is actually in the root folder. I need clarification about how this should MOD be installed. I am assuming that the upload files should go to the .htaccess mod should be in the webroot folder where vbportal is installed. What effect will that have on the sitemap and "where" is it generated, in the forum root or the webroot? My robots.txt file is in the webroot where it belongs and I believe that is where the sitemap is supposed to be as well. Please clarify. thanks, mikesz |

Great MOD!
Question? Can I use this to create a sitemap for my whole site? I am a bit confused ... I am using vbAdvanced (as my root) and vBulletin as my root/forum I have this working for my forum, and seems to be working, but when I do searches for things that I "should" be pulling up in google, they aren't showing up? It has been about a week since I have been submitting these sitemaps. I am wondering, do I need to submit a sitemap for my root folder as well?? Thanks! |

Well, I guess that is where I am confused then? I thought this mod created a sitemap ONLY for the vBulletin forum. (http://www.mysite.com/forum)
When I have vbAdvanced in the /root (http://www.mysite.com) and I would like to create a sitemap for the entire site? Even though I don't have toooooo much yet in the front page (aka vbAdvanced) Let me know please ... thank you |
