Many thanks for the quick response itrends. I red about that Flashback thingy, sounds indeed amazing. Btw, about the mysql databases, is there a max size of a database? I also red that while you have 1TB of bandwidth every month you have to do something when you reach an amount of bandwidth to get more? Sorry to sound so fague but I hope you understand my question hehe.
Thanks for the response mate. What I was actually meaning to say with the monthly traffic is that some webhosting provider say that you have for example 1TB/month but in real you have to send them an email once you got to the 100GB bandwidth and they will give you 100GB extra. Not that it is such a big deal but I'm always thinking that when there's one detail there are more hehe. I'm really interested in the bandwidth coz my site got a huge amount of downloads (all legal ones ofcourse). At this moment I got 4.8GB of downloads so this will take up some bandwidth. One file is 47MB big and has already been downloaded 13,000 times (it's been added on 5 feb 2007). That is already over 500GB of bandwidth if my math is correct hehe.
That there isn't a maximum size for sql is a good thing. Not that I need it at the moment. My db is 70mb big (I have no clue if that's nothing or a lot or in between).
Anyway, I think you've convinced me! Site5 here I come hehe.
my hosting is http://dragonwild.com (owned by myself) i also resell location is in Singapore but pretty good speed depending on the area you live it. I am in Tennessee(USA) forum will load between 0.9 secs to 1.4 secs FTP upload i can get about 20-40 kbs on dsl.
I have some good offers over there as well. Support forum and also msn support(support@dragonwild.com) I don't sign in much to it(but will as soon as i get more clients) my setup time for new customers is pretty good to(if i am online and i know your fixing to purchase 5 minutes)
My hosting is http://1and1.com. I have the managed dedicated business server ||. It runs pretty niceley. It has 3 terabytes of bandwidth, and two 250 sata drives. Pretty sexy
my hosting is http://www.dutchzone.be a Belgium company with god support, prices in EURO and website is in Dutch but they speak English as well :d
Not really the cheapest Dutch host I've seen lol. If you're Dutch you might want to check out Flexwebhosting.nl. For ?40 you get 500mb webspace and 10gb bandwidth per month. On your host you have to pay ?150 to get 500mb webspace and 4.5gb bandwidth per month. I've been with Flexwebhosting for over 3 years now. They are very friendly and respond quickly to emails. They are especially awesome when you host a forum. I run a big forum and had never any downtime or mysql errors. Their wait_timeout is 28800, max_user_connections is 0 (unlimited) and max_connections is 100. Their servers are also very fast.
You just might wanna look into it.

Do you might asking me what your site url is? I've taken a look at their website and I just don't like the fact that the mysql database got a 100mb limit on it. My database is already 81mb and my forum is only a year old. Btw, could you perhaps look what the mysql settings are? wait_timeout, max_connections and max_user_connections? Cheers...
