There are thousands of these spammers, and while some do share the same IP address [or are the same spammer], the majority use many different IP addresses...

The simplest thing to do is set a post limit for new users, no link posting until their post count reaches a certain amount, there is a hack for it.

Tad much when u only want to limit links for new users, but it is a nice hack, i did try it out on my test board.

If u use amy's, just change the post limit in both plugins and resave it.
In the post, you can add just about anything you want to it to filter content. |
