I usually design logos in grayscale first, then add color. That's just me though.

IMHO logos should state your business name and 1 element that compliments your business branding. Too much can get confusing. If it were me... I would use the character and put the words bashy's place under his arm. I think the character is more identifiable with your font and colors. I would also remove the elements around that so they don't wash out the lettering. If you don't want to remove the other images I would then look into either a fatter font or putting a light glow arounf the letters. That's just my opinion Now that I look at it more, you could put bashy in between bashy's and place but above 'the place to be' hope this helps or maybe sparks another idea |
