No support by the author.

I'm using statcounter.com but am worried about the accuracy of it, should I trust an off site program?

I've applied for Google Analytics but have not yet received word back.

statcounter.com is reporting I'm receiving 85,000 hits per day, and 4,000 unique users per day.

Is this all the info that I should be tracking? It also has session time, and browser types.

Any ideas?

Analytics is alright, I have not messed with it much yet though.

I applied for Analytics after reading this thread, and have already been approved. It is pretty nifty - you might want to reapp Demented.

I use AWstats and webanalizer, also google analitics.

But i prefeer old style webanalizer

Google Analytics is great, and with the new interface I would say it's the best stats package every made. It's nice that it's free too

Yup, I use analytics for my sites as well. It is great. I used to use Urchin (which is what analytics is based off of after Google bought them out) so I have used this tracking system for a while.
