Theres one problem with watermarking images. It seems only jpg/jpeg images can be watermarked, and not gifs. (which I think alot more people like using. :disappointed See the examples here:

The original JPG picture:
http://www.vbhackers.com/watermark/main.jpg

The original JPG picture watermarked:
http://www.vbhackers.com/watermark/i...=watermark.png

The original GIF picture:
http://www.vbhackers.com/watermark/main2.gif

The original GIF picture watermarked:
http://www.vbhackers.com/watermark/i...=watermark.png

I don't see a point in making this unless I can watermark bmp, gif, jpeg, jpg, and png.

Convert the gif image to jpeg prior to watermarking..

How do you go abouts converting the gif image via PHP? I've yet to try this.

Using ImageMagick (free) you can do the conversions easily on the fly.
