Since the bridgescript that comes with Coppermine 1.4.2 for vBulletin doesn't work at all I started digging in the script and corrected it to finally work.
While I was at it I also added support for the vBulletin 3.5.x branch
Installation:
Easy!
Just upload the "vbulletin30.inc.php" from this archive into your Coppermine's bridge folder while OVERWRITING the existing one.
You can then launch the bridgemanager (http:/www.yourdomain.tld/gallery/bridgemgr.php) and set everthing up.
That should have done it.
If you followed all the instructions from the manual and the bridgemanager you should now have a fine working Coppermine with your vBulletin.
I tested this myself on my own forums with the following setups:
will this work for 3.5.0 or is this exclusive to 3.5.1?
Should work with 3.5.0 as well since all added to the bridge was the "understanding" of the new 3.5.x config file.

Yes, that's right.
While in bridge mode CPG uses only the groups it gets from vB - all stand-alone settings are lost while in bridging. (Also stated that way in the manual).
After enabling bridgemode, just go to "Usergroups" while in CPG Admin-Mode.
It will then sync with your vB groups and you can edit all permissions for your corresponding vB groups, i.e. assign differnet permissions for each group.
As in "Registered" can't have private ablums but "Premium Member" can and so on....
No need to make a copy into CPG Stand-Alone.

The bridge so far only integrates using the forum's login and the usergroup/user handling.
Integrating it into the design of vB is a whole other story.
Should be possible, yes.... Just not yet done, but I'll try
It installs fine but I have one problem which I'm not able to solve.
After running the bridgemgr.php the integration works and the users are automatically logged into Coppermine and can upload pics and all but when clicking on "User galleries" they always get the following error: "Critical error: There was an error while processing a database query"
If I setup other galleries it works fine, the error is only with "User galleries".
Did somebody have the same error and maybe have a fix for it?
I did a full stand alone install and tested all the functions including the "User galleries" link. As soon as I enable the bridging the "User galleries" link comes up with the error. When I disable bridging, the link is fine again. Maybe it conflicts with some of the other plugins installed.
ERROR
You seem to be trying to install the standalone Coppermine into your Nuke portal.
This version can only be used as standalone!
Some server setups might display this warning even though you don't have a nuke portal installed - if this is the case for you, continue with the install. If you are using a nuke portal, you might want to take a look into CpgNuke or use one of the $(unsupported) coppermine ports - do not continue
Sorry but i don't have idea this be done...
Is it need to install a special edition? Where to download?
@Xzyte:
Very strange.
Sorry, no idea about that at the moment, it's working fine here and seems OK for all the others, so there has to be a "special" problem....

Just the normal version.
Try ignoring that message (like it suggests) if you have nothing to do with PHPNuke and only want to integrate it into vB.
The script seems to "think" there's a PHPNuke when there isn't....
