Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can add the users_chatting_count just after the "Chat" link in the nav bar as I described in this post;
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....2&postcount=80 I've tried using the users chatting phrase and stripped out the text and I've also tried inserting the variable I found in the php files but neither one would work. |

I can't get chatwho.php to show anything nor the who's chatting info on the forum homepage.
Any ideas? I've already had to hardcode my server into it as it was playing silly beggers and dropping the '.'s' in the server URL. |

for some reason, the "who's chatting" used to show up on the forum page, and now it doesn't...
i did everything the instructions said to get it to pop up and it is in my quick links, but still doesn't work on the main forum page...??? is there a way, even, to get "who's chatting" to show when a member highlights the "chat" button? that would be cool... |

The "Who's Chatting" started working again before I received the following email:
Does the Who's Chatting list from the Quick Links work correctly for you? One common problem people report is caused because either 1) there is noone presently logged into the chat room in which case it will not show at all, or 2) they did not wait the amount of time specified in chat_global.php then reload before checking their homepage to see if it works. We recommend loading the chat room in a browser window, then, in a separate browser window, open your forum homepage, wait about 5 minutes, then reload it twice. On forum systems with regular visitors this is usually never necessary, but on less busy forum systems, this is a great way to ensure that the system is indeed working. If the Who's Chatting list from Quick Links is not working properly, it is possible that it could be a PHP configuration problem, or perhaps a minor installation issue. |
