FAQ
Q: This Hack does not work! A: Although it is possible that you have discovered a new bug which causes this Hack to not work, there is a good chance that there are other problems:
Select the Forum in which the birthday threads should be created.
You can edit the title of the thread here.

When I try I get...

No Phrases Matched Your Query
Everyone still seems to be looking help, as this is a popular hack.
picardtux, has done good trying to upgrade it. I just wish we could get the last few bugs out of it.
Running vB 3.6.4 here. I have version 1.0.1 of this installed and it's been running fine (cron job included.) I do get the "No Phrases Matched Your Query" when I click the links to edit the message text... but it looks like I can manually edit it via the bdaygreet phrase. My working setup could be because I've had it installed all the while, back when I was on vB 3.5, and have just updated vB on top of it, but I'm not sure. I just know it works.
I have not yet tried the "updates" provided by others in this thread (outlaw621, picardtux) ... but based on feedback it sounds like they wouldn't add/fix anything, anyway.
I would very much like to see if there's a way to include the birthday person's AVATAR in their birthday thread. I realize this would require the AdminCP setting of "Allow Dynamic URL for [IMG] Tags" to be set to YES, and I currently can do this manually. But with that, how difficult would it be to enhance this to allow the inclusion of avatar's in the birthday posting?
For some strange reason, the title of the thread has started being wrong. when the thread is created, it puts the date in the thread title, but this is different from the dates against each members name.
The dates of the members birthdays is correct but the date on the thread title is a day behind.
For example:
This thread was created today, May 27th at 00:05

Yet the title of the thread is

Happy Birthday on 26th May 2007
It had been working fine for ages, then all of a sudden it started doing this.
