// Description:
The Tutorial hack 1.3 has much more features that you can possibly imagine!
User permissions, allow or disallow users (and usergroups!) to use the tutorial
section. Tutorial Moderation, want to give approval to tutorials before they appear live on the site? With this feature you can, you can either allow or delete tutorials!
Search feature, now you and your users can search for tutorials easily without the hassle of looking for them!
Add, Delete, Modify catagories to your liking! You have an easy-to-use catagory manager so you dont have to go through any trouble adding catagories.
Allow your users to vote on their favourite tutorials. Good tutorials will be regconized by others! Move, Hide, Edit and Delete - these are some of the tutorial features you as an administrator can do for tutorials. Move a tutorial to another catagory, Hide it temporarily, Edit it and even Delete!
Quick Stats! See which tutorials are hot, and which are not.
Add a whole new level to your site with the Tutorial Hack!

Also, i've checked your site and it doesn't seem to be running the latest version (Are you sure you updated the hack properly?)

I've reinstalled it from scratch and reuploaded latest version and still nothing...

Any other ideas?

Can you install it on a testboard (Ifyou have one) and see if the problem still occurs? I have downloaded the zip in the post and installed it over and over again and cannot reproduce the problem

Then it must be it conflicts with another hack...

THe only one I can think of is maybe the one that saves you bandwith by removing unneeded spaces... wdy think?

Is it just me, or does the search engine not work? When I click "search" without any input, I get a list of all the tutorials, but keyword specific searches based on tutorials I have already posted yield no results.

Matt D, that's a bug - I may fix this. Also, the search function is very basic, however, it does work.

What I've just noticed is that if you search for the last term in a tutorial header

ie:

How to upgrade to Windows XP

Searching for XP, you will find the article in the search results, but if you search for any of the other words (how, to, upgrade, windows) - you will not find the article in the results.

OK it is parsing HTML correctly but it is ignoring VB CODE at all.

I've removed the "save bandwith" hack and results are THE SAME.

Has any one installed this hack onto a vb2.3.x board and have it working? online? can I have your URL?

I, since the beginning of this problem, am still totally confused to why it's not working. The code is exactly the same as it was in 1.2, and nothing else has changed. I really cannot think of anything to do, try editing the tutorial and saving it - that may trigger something.

Already tried and nothing happens... how/when/where do you parse the vb code? may be i modified any hack which is affecting yours...

No that's not possible unless you modified tutorials.php - Nothing else could affect it.
