Getting an error when installing this on ver 4.1pl2
Warning: require_once([path]/dbtech/username_change/includes/hooks/cache_templates.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/includes/class_bootstrap.php(1309) : eval()'d code on line 74 I've uploaded the files to [path]/forums/ Any ideas? |

I'm confused... You can clearly see what path the folder structure is, so why did you upload it to [path]/forums/ ?

/public_html/forums/dbtech/ /public_html/forums/includes/ /public_html/forums/modcp/ I've uploaded to the same paths other than it being "forums" instead of "forum"....since my setup is in the forums directory. |

From the readme.txt file:
--- 1. Upload all files from the "forum" folder to your forums directory. --- Meaning, the contents of that folder goes in the folder where your forum files are Fillip |

I don't mean to sound argumentative, but that's exactly what I did.
Once it is unzipped (locally) and you open the "forum" folder the folders within it are exactly what I described above. Thusly: /root/forums/dbtech/username_change/includes/ (and a couple folders below this as well) /root/forums/dbtech/username_change/install/ (another "install" folder and some files, including core.php are in here) /root/forums/includes/xml/ /root/forums/modcp/ By "root", and by [path], I mean "usr/home/server/public_html/" Is that not correct? |

Within your /forums/ directory, do the vBulletin files exist?
Because according to your error message, this does not appear to be the case. The files need to be uploaded to the same folder as the vBulletin files, like forum.php, ajax.php and the likes. Fillip |

The forums are working correctly, other than this mod. But I did get it to work. What I had to do is to upload the files to the root folder, not the forums folder. I'll play around with it to see if it works satisfactorily. But it should be able to be installed in the /forums/ folder instead. |

There is no way to make it able to be installed in any other way than you have installed it atm, unfortunately.

I think the confusion comes from the installation file where it says "Upload the forum folder to your forums directory"
Instead the wordage should be something like "Upload to your messageboard root directory" or "forum root directory" |
