Introduction & Description:
Simply, this will add two new links for members, in a drop-down menu, to enable them to find their posts and threads easily.

Installation & Upgrade:
One step! Import the product file product-mythreads_myposts.xml and you're done.
Choose yes to overwrite when upgrading.

OK MY Threads links has suddenly stopped worked in bulletin 4.2 pl3. Ive reinstalled and overwritten , deleted and recreated the link in my nav bar. Still when I click on it it only goes to a white screen.

vB built in a navigation manager found in ACP.

ACP->Setting->Navigation Manager.

From there click on forum so it expands.

Then select add link from the drop down next to quick links and add the following:

Title: My Posts
Target URL: search.php?do=finduser&userid={userinfo.userid }&contenttype=vBForum_Post &showposts=1

Then select active and save.

Do the same for:

Title: My Threads
Target URL: search.php?do=finduser&userid={userinfo.userid}&st arteronly=1&contenttype=vBForum_Thread

To hide these links from guests add "member" in the box 'Show Permission Name'.

This has stopped working after upgrading to 4.2.1.
userinfo.userid is not returning a number.
Any thoughts?

Replace with {bbuserinfo.userid}

Example

My Threads
search.php?do=finduser&userid={bbuserinfo.user id}&contenttype=vBForum_Post&showposts=1

My Posts
search.php?do=finduser&userid={bbuserinfo.user id}&contenttype=vBForum_Post&showposts=1

Please add more constraints to your search. Searches that return all or most of the database are a bad idea.

Ok it works now but how can be the same code for posts & threads?

the above link return result as posts for My Posts.

anyway to return result as threads for My Posts.
please take note, it is different from My Threads which return threads started by me.

Both show the same information...I take it as being posts btu the thread view doesn't show so O have removed that link...
