Blaine...

I think the hook for the VBay navbar link conflicts with Cyb's PayPal Donate navbar link hook. As it stands...I had to manually insert the Donate link in the navbar after installing your mod.

Is there any way to fix this...other than manually inserting the link to either VBay, or Donate?

Thanks, in advance...

not sure man... it shouldnt mess with anything as my mod simply adds it to the navbar build....

i guess wait until next version.. there wont be any need for a menu option

as for no categories.. strange, have you made categories in your AdminCP?

Wow, real nice mod man. Have to ask is there a way for a buyer to "ask a question" and have it post in auction for others to see and abiltiy for sellers to respond? KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

the next version will have everything integrated into a thread system, so people would be able to reply to auctions just like they were able to reply to a thread.

I'm assuming the next version is going to be updated to 3.8.x?

Interesting thanks, how thou do I set that up, if a user clicks on the vbay link he would be able to post a new auction.

So I would need to have the "SELL" link redirecting to the payments page ? then once they have paid redicted back into the create auction .. hmmm :erm:

no, make a sellers usergroup, and when the user requests to join that usergroup it will ask to send the forum XX amount of money. once they pay they will get access to that usergroup allowing them to post auctions..

Ok guys, im at the point where I need to integrate paypal, and im looking for user input. How do you think this is best handled? It would be hard making a secure section through vbulletin, so I dont think paypal handles should be handled server side. Does anyone have experiance with this sort of thing?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

But then the buyers would need to do the same as if they access vbay, they would still see the "SELL" link, unless of course you condition that in the vbay template, what template is vbay please? , going to try set this up later on!

But then I would want to charge them for every item they put on LOL!
