Web based Bookmark collection for your forum users.

Updates 1.20 (7-30-2002):
- Complete support of different languages by new template.
- Containing all German and English templates now.
- Import Bookmarks from bookmarks file.
- Option: Allow/disallow save of public bookmarks.
- Option: User can ignore URL validity.
- Option: What may a deactivated/banned/warned user do...
- Bug: no max number allowed bookmarks on 'add' page.
- Small bug fixes in file bookmarks.php

....and nothing was not absolutely correct. I can see the following:
"xxx's Bookmarks: Public Bookmarks / Views ". The variables $bookmarklink, $userinfo[publics] and $userinfo[allhits] obviousely don't hold any values.

installed like a breeze, tested and works perfectly. hell, i gave myself a 500 limit so i can store all of my bookmarks using this... will make it easier when going back and forth between work and home.

This error started after a recent apache/php upgrade. Any input would be appreciated, getting tons of error email

In addition... users are saying that suddenly others are on their Ignore Lists ... when they "click here to read thread" another bookmarks related SQL error shows.

bad_madman, thank you for this fabulous hack. I'm running it on my test forum and I can't wait to give it a try on my real site.

I'm wondering if there's any way this can be modified or reworked to create a regular link directory, i.e., an addon to the main site rather than just confined to the members' control panels. (I know there are other vB-Link Directory type of hacks, but MyBookmarks seems to work more smoothly than they do... my apologies to the creators of those hacks if they're around!) Anyone interested in fiddling with this idea? Should I post this in "requests" maybe?

It seems that links with ampsersands (&) in them get written to the database as "&" (html entities). Obviously, that causes a problem when displayed, and people try to click on it.

Has this been fixed in a newer version? I think I'm still running the original release ...

Yep, same error over here. When a user is on ignore and someone clicks "HERE" to read the post, this error shows up

One problem though, the shortkeys are shift+b Which is real annoying as no one on myt forum can type a capital B anymore >.<

Havin' some problems with this hack.

DId everything the file said to me.
Edited templates and edited files, but the bookmarks wont appear in my User CP
