-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lite Feature List:

Advanced Battle System: A battle system more advanced than any ever before seen on a forum RPG. Incorporating tactical elements such as movement distance and Action Points, as well as a vast array of different attacks, including ideal ranges, ineffective ranges and different Action Point costs, as well as Focus/Stamina costs and boosts from other stats.

Monster Breeding: A breeding system which allows players to choose their own monsters, from feet up to head, including a choice of any hex colour for each part! Basic breeding allows players to safely create above average monsters.

Super Fine Control: Fine tune the EXP players get with our variety of user-friendly options which do not sacrifice depth. Create many areas for players to do battle in, and create the exact monsters you wish them to face.

Gotta Catch em All: Players are able to capture monsters and use them in battle, or use them to breed super powerful combination monsters!

Items: Provide your monsters with a boost to their stats with usable items that can be dropped from enemy monsters.

Extra Pro Features:
Special Monster Breeding: Use special breeding to create potentially incredible specimens, but resulting in the death of both parents!

Unlimited Possibilities: A monster combination system so in depth that with the addon pack installed it gives over HALF A GOOGOL of potential combinations & colours.

Configurable Monster Roster Size: Control just how many monsters a player can have in their roster via the settings.

Mass Add Enemies: Allows you to quickly create a large number of enemies to spawn in a certain area of your choosing.

No, you need to take the time and create monsters and such, there is no need to pay to make it work.

I have no idea how I should create monster, in the acp I find some settings do not take me on.

I do not get it to run, find it as an addon already complicated.

Regular Updates: New features such as NPCs, Shops, Quests and more will be added on a regular basis.
^I have not seen any of these features added ever since the mod has launched like 3 or 4 years ago? It seem's you guys are more worried about the most newest one you made, than older addons. For example, the newest ones you make i see tons and tons of updates for, but when new ones are made you will forget the current ones in favor of any new ones you made.

Now maybe forumon just has not gotten as big as you hoped it would be and don't feel it is worth putting time into it in which i can understand however maybe it's not big for a reason? I think if you guys really got down to business, get someone who has created online rpg games and worked together to sculpt a mod that is actually worth it to these people then you might see a rise in popularity with it. Heck, just adding pvp would help!

Generally with our mods we will update those with the most feature requests/popularity most often. For instance, we updated Advanced Post Thanks/Likes 5 or 6 times in the last year, including in the last couple of weeks, despite it being one of the first mods we ever released.

Forumon is a very time/energy intensive piece of work to update/improve. It was probably either the most, or second most, labour-intensive mod we have ever created. Despite that huge initial time investment, it hasn't proven as popular as we would like, and it remains one of the mods with the least feature requests from customers.

The proliferation of free-to-play MMO games has led to a significant decline in the popularity of single-site solutions like Forumon. Unfortunately we cannot afford to just commit months of time and resources to an unpopular mod. If that changes, and/or existing customers come up with feature requests that we can implement in a reasonable time-frame, we shall.

We have amended the original post to remove that wording, since it is inaccurate at the moment. Thanks for pointing it out.

Iain

I actually understand your position, and i am one to speak my mind on how i might feel about something. I agree with you that a system like this ain't as big of a thing as it once was, so there is no good reason for you to invest so much into it. It's just kind of depressing to see such a good idea for a community go down a dark road, but some may call it progress. I would like to see this finished up with pvp and questing, and then it would be complete imo but on the other hand i totally understand your position.
