RPG PET System For Forum





_ RPG PET is a combat system includes main features such as training, shopping, boss killing, PVP, and other auxiliary parts.

_Ajax is mostly used in some parts: Boss, Versus ? members can participate and interact in combat directly.

_About skill system. At the moment, I have difficulty building a suitable skill system for this mod. If you are interested in my RPG PET, please help me with your ideas.

_All items, characters, bosses could configure in Admincp. In the next versions, I will try to add more functions.

_It is not difficult to use RPG PET?s functions. Admins could view Notes in Admincp to know how to configure.

? To give facilities, I had uploaded Database with heroes and items in DotA (Defense of Ancients).
? Uploading Database: You download DATA_Dota.rar in attachment, unrar into PhpMyAdmin, choose your forum and Import ( If you have a table prefix , you must edit the table prefix in DATA_Dota.sql ).

+Note: If you do not see countdown timer, do these steps:
Go to Admincp ==> RPG PET ==> Settings ==> CountDown Script and add this link: http://www.minisitegallery.com/2020/countdown.php

i add now all my modys (monsters & boss pictures) .. profil chances .. code edits .. to my download area .. i will add today many ideas + codes and install codes + sql files to the download area .. a english/german support area was later addet

I have this downloaded but I also have several questions about the gameplay itself. I know I'm being anal retentive, but I have a forum that has game designers and they will do their level best to break it and my spirit.

Going to a demo board I see that to get to level 2 I needed 13 exp. To get to level 3 I needed 20, 4 I needed 30. This makes no sense to me as lower level monsters would have to be almost no exp while higher level monsters STILL couldn't be worth very much or you'd get a level fighting it each time. I know that you can set the initial EXP and I ASSUME that this carries over (so if you set the exp needed to 100 then EACH LEVEL requires 100 exp). Will there ever be a way to set exp per level?

Levels: When you get a level what really happens? I see that you get some HP, but is it the same for each class (warrior, gunner, etc.) or are they all the same? Is there any other benefit to gaining a level?

Stats: With no documentation it's very hard to determine what the stats for "pets" or monsters should be. For example in the demo site (I used the one given by a user here http://www.aniworlds.net/forum/rpg.php) had stats from 1 to 11 depending on which character you chose. The first level monsters have stats in the 1 - 3 range and always did the same damage regardless of how many times we fought. So what do the stats mean? Is it a percentile? So a critical of 1 has a 1% chance of doing double damage? Or is it a direct match where my critical is 3 and his is 6 so his is twice as effective as mine? How does the attack/defense work? I was being attacked by an attack of 3 with a defense of 11 and they did 2 points damage to me each time.


I'm sure I'll have more questions as I put this thing together, but it's very hard to balance a game with no information to go off of.

Another question. What does it do for the monsters to be of a certain class? If a monster is a Thief with identical stats of a monster that is a Warrior, what is the difference?

Also, in Monsters and Boss Monsters, what does the Time stat do?

I realize that these could all be done in a PM but I'll bet others are wondering, too.

Kraxell, I'd be willing to bet you are attempting to edit a pet, monster or item. I get the same thing. It allows you to make a NEW one with no problems, but the script calls for a bad SQL table when attempting to edit.

I edited my tables directly to get around this, which is a bad, bad thing.

I'm nearly there, too. But I've put so much work into planning the characters/monsters/items that I am not wanting to jump ship yet.

Bump to that my friend. We have custom made the mayority and have the plan more or less set out, but now we are getting another problem that now the fights are not ending; meaning: for example: we set the battles to be for 2 min , once the 2 mins are done the fight keeps on . You can go train and shop and market but if you go try and train or battle , it gives you that you are still in a battle, when in fact it should have ended hours ago. Then when we checked our sql logs we had about 400+ databse errors, all saying the same thing, example below:

Apparently it is trying to edit a table adding to the users RPG values and get error. As my college said above we also have dedicated much time to this mod, we think it has an incredible potential and we are not going to let this go any time soon. Would be alot of help if we can get some clarification on these issues so we can all gain more and help each other out.

also bugfree ist diese version schon.. das problem an dem ganzen ist nur das man probleme hat diese zu installieren, wenn man prefixe benutzt.. mein forum hatte davor auch das prefix vb4 und ich habe rpg pet nicht zum laufen bekommen.. da mein forum noch ganz neu war, habe ich es nochmal installiert ohne prefix und siehe da alles funktioniert ohne zu meckern ..

ich habe garkeine probleme es nun zu benutzen.. sprich ganz ohne fehler .. sicherlich gibt es vieles was man erweiteren und updaten k?nnte .. was evtl auch noch kommt.

aber vom guten und ganzen rennt die version richtig gut .. zumindest bei mir
