As of 24 Nov 2017 this modification has been withdrawn.
If a member has not visited the forum for a defined number of days (180 by default) then they will be moved from their existing usergroup to another usergroup (this can be any existing usergroup, however, you should really create a new 'Inactive users' group - esp if you use the auto-restore option).
Only members of a defined list of usergroups are checked for inactivity.
If a member of the inactive usergroup returns to the forum, and auto-restore is enabled, they are automatically restored to another defined usergroup (by default this is usergroup 2, Registered Users).
Note: The move of inactive users is done once per day as part of the daily update cron job.

Would be nice if there was an email system that could be used to send out to the members advising them of the fact that they have been moved to inactive group, as a reminder to them. The email could be then modified for each person using the mod to text it the way the want it to read, with advice to please respond to the email if they have had troubles logging in, recovering password, no longer want to remain a member. This way we can as administrators, work on those members that are having issues we might not know about. Also we would be notified of undeliverable emails as well, and cull off those members. Is this possible to be done, would enhance this mod very well that way and I am sure that many that use it, would agree with this as an added feature.
is it possible to do this for inactive moderators ?
ex.: if a moderator is inactive for more than x days, than move him to registered users. if he cames back and will have his job back, the admin can move him back to moderators group (and all permissions are back) ?
Optinal emails would be perfect... Due to my needs this is missing.
How should the users know about there move - without an email?
Greets,
Tom

Have 11500th member. Currently 1200 members left. What should I do to bring back. I'm sorry I do not speak English. I'm trying to explain with pictures.
Make sure that you put the group number in the field to move people back to that group once they log in again. It will move them back to the group you define again the 2 in there is shown for reference only, as we all have different groups, the one you want to move them back to may be different, mine certainly is different.
