This modification allows you to add advertisements to your vBulletin software. It's very easy to use, very quick and allows almost unlimited customisation. There is no restriction regarding the content you can use. Adsense, images, flash, plain text and you can use template conditionals and phrases as well. It will put anything, anywhere. Just about.
Features:
- Timed ads.
- Self-refreshing ads.
- Ad rotations.
- Ads using conditionals, phrases and templates.
- Ad sharing.
- Default ad blocks (typical ad block screenshot attached) for all the most popular locations plus another 25 custom blocks.
- Default ad blocks for some of the most popular alternative formats; columns, full-page, sponsors.
- Ads for distributed content (emails and feeds).
- Instant previews before publishing.
- No template edits necessary.
- Compatibility with external pages and software.
- Appearance blending to make your ads look like part of your vBulletin templates.
- Alter hyperlinks to include your referral codes.
- Further details in the manual.
For software-specific management (i.e. threads on a forum, comments on a blog) and/or ad (revenue) sharing you will additionally need the appropriate module.
This modification is supported with a link back to my homepage in the footer. Unbranded is per vBulletin license to be used with, see here for details.
Search for $ad_location[ad_showthread_firstpost_start] in the postbit template and after it add $vbam_location[post_message] (note at the end). Set your ads to display every 1 post, choose the post_message template hook from the menu and for your adcode use this:
Is everyone running this stable with vB 3.8? Just curious. I have vbSEO 3.2 and Vbulletin 3.8 installed. So I'm wondering if anyone is using ad management with that configuration.
1. Unclear structure and instructions, version 2.x was waaaay easier to use. 4.x and 5.x is simply overengineered.
Upgrading isn't as easy as a new installation, it is true. Unfortunately, it was a necessary evil.

That should be easier, not more difficult. Just go to the Posts section (Forum Ad Management add-on) and choose 15 where it asks you.

Sorry to hear it doesn't suit your forum. If the situation changes in that regard I'll let you know. I'm not aware of any vulnerabilities in anything I've done though.

Of course! Quite a few of the changes were done directly because they were requested. If you have further thoughts, let me know.

Where can we find the post_message template hook from the menu ??
thanks,

All hook locations are listed in the auto-insertion dropdown menu with each adcode block. Any you add yourself are automatically included in the menu.
Would anyone like to volunteer their forum for a few minutes of bug fixing with vBSEO? I'll need full admin and FTP access and possibly vBSEO access too. I might produce a few errors while I'm working but it should be brief. PM me with the details if you'd like to help, please.
I had a helpful offer but access wasn't wide enough.
When this mod is enabled on my site it causes my forum width to be wider than desired but only on the showthread page. Forumhome and forumdisplay are normal. Anyone have any idea why this might be occurring?
