Put a Column on the RIGHT side of every forum page · **Released**: 08-16-2005

Rather than clutter up the left column thread with this second product and confuse the issue further, I have made a separate product for those of you who want a column on the right side instead.

This can easily be combined with the left column product to have a column on both sides.

To use this with the left column product, change the header code to:

I can't se it causing any problems SaN-DeeP but I suggest taking a backup of your style first, just in case.

From what TSR said. Check very top <br /> in product xml or right side bar codes you have.

To display only on your forum index

In your header template:
Find:

Code:

$leftcolumn

Replace it with

Code:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == index">$leftcolumn </if>

And in your Footer template:

Find:

Code:

$rightcolumn

Replace it with:

Code:

<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == index">$rightcolumn</if>

Try using <br /> as many times in your columns.

Thanks for doing that but I didn't ask for how to put this hack on forum index only.

I am no longer using this hack because the column was not correct align, it kept over the fixed width or whatever. I've got mine worked.

Can you include php files in this column using the standard method recommend in the vB manual?

I've created a plugin to include a php file, and tested it on another test template, but when I put the variable in the right column template nothing happens.

Any suggestions.
