vMembers manages subscription purchases and downloads

What is vMembers? Say a member buys your good via a vB paid subscription. If the good is a script, the members goes to vMembers, wherever you have it installed, and can download the script. However, before the member can download, the member is prompted to agree to your license agreement and could be asked to insert a domain name for the script.

vMembers takes care of vB database changes via product, and there are no vB file changes. vMembers adds several templates, a bunch of phrases, and one new file with its own queries. While vMembers uses vB to login, vMembers does not need to be within the vB forum directory. You can install vMembers in its own directory, and name the new file what you choose.

vMembers works off the vB subscription and profile information. Other than setting a path in the new file, you can control vMembers using the current ACP. If you know how to run vB paid subscriptions, then you can run vMembers. If you do not like vMembers, check out Ron1n's vBPurchase here.

If you install vMembers, click the install button. This allows you to receive update notices, should any be sent. It is also a nice way to say thanks!

Side Notes: Attached images are somewhat out of date. Some skins and this mod may not get along.

Anyway, all funny aside, you are almost there. You just need to type what you would like the Phrase to say in the box that you see above the Save/Reset buttons.

Then click save.

a bug found!

when u create a pay subscribtion, it will create a field in "profile.php?do=editprofile" to ask u to input ur website address.

once u edit that subscribtion, and change the name of it, that field with the old name will remain on that page, and it will also create a new field with new name on that page.

could u check it out?

vMembers does not delete subscription or profile fields, so just use the vB ACP to edit or delete, etcetera, if you wish to do so.

So this was updated recently I guess because I can't use this file on a subdomain now. Is it possible to make this work on a subdomain? In the last version, we could specify the location. Now we can't.

I just tried to install this and it installed fine except that there is nothing for me to set in the admin panel and when I click download on the members.php page I get an error 404!! And the same goes for the License agreement and documentation!! It's like there are files missing in the folder!! How many are there supposed to be?? It's really pissing me off!! I serious!! I'm getting annoyed trying to figure this out!! So will somebody please help me??
