Okay this is my first release. for postbit legacy

Screenshot at the bottom.....

Create a new profile field or use an existing one for xbox live gamertag.

First step, you may have already done this.

In Postbit.css find

Code:

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:both;
}

and replace with

Code:

.postbitlegacy .after_content {
 position: relative;
 width: 100%;
 clear:none;
}

Second Step.

In postbit.css

find

Code:

.postbitlegacy .signature, .postbitlegacy .lastedited {

underneath that code you will find

Code:

margin-top: ?em;

replace that number with 17, so it will look like this.

Code:

margin-top: 17em;

Step Three

Now go to the postbit_legacy and find

Code:

{vb:raw template_hook.postbit_messagearea_start}

add after

Code:

<vb:if condition="$post['fieldx']"><img src="http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/{vb:raw post.fieldx}/avatar-body.png" align="right" width="150" height="300"/></vb:if>

Replace the x with xbox live profile field number.

Thats it

Is this Mod still working ( someone had told me X box changes the location for this link back often?)
and again short of going through 8 pages of individual post is there a complete code in a single line order?
I am on go just waiting for a response...

Is there anyway to put the user's username rather than a profile field? My clan makes it so only people with valid XBL Gamertags can join, and it's kind of annoying typing your GT twice.

Im having a problem where to find postbit.css as the one i found postbit does not have any of that coding that im supposed to modify

You can locate postbit.css by opening "CSS Templates" in the style you are using.

Is there a crack to make this work in the vBulletin 5 software?

I LOVE this feature, and used it in my vB4, but am looking to upgrade to vB5. I don't think I'll upgrade if I can't use this, though. That's how much I like it!

Does ANYBODY know if there is a way we can use this in the vb5 software?

Anybody knowledgeable about this that could let me know?

I wish i knew.. i just upgraded to vB5, & am afraid to try adding it. lol
