The forum with the ID of 1 is most likely a category.

Double check which forum you want the welcome message posted in.

I look forward too it! I am really missing my intro field being popped in to the intro threads.

I also second the ability to have the new member automatically subscribed to the thread if possible!

For a future release, can you make it so their username in the thread is linked to their userprofile?
