IRC Manager ( without Eggdrop/Mirc )

This is the first release of my irc manager for VB 3.5.
You don't need eggdrop or mirc to run this script.

Multiple irc-servers & channels are supported

This script is based on "Eggdrop IRC Manager"
You can use your old config, you must only change every config and add server_id

Extract and upload all the files from the ROOT folder to your forum root. ( 1x admincp script, 1x admincp-xml, 1x cron script )

After upload, import product-ircmanager.xml.

This product will automatically add a vb-cronjob which runs every 15 min.

How does this script works?
It uses a socket connection to your irc server.
After a successful connection, the script joins your channel(s), collects information then leaves the channel(s).

This is a first version of the script. Later on, I plan to send some forum information to the channel, e.g. 10 last posts.

Edit the uninstall code and delete all the code there. Then uninstall the product. The tables are already gone.

Ok i figured out what was wrong

hope this hack evolves a bit and then i can run it again, as for a chat applet, this hack is "all the money"

Maybe it's because it are windows based servers (no shell support)

They DO support socket connections & cronjobs though.

If you dont see the bot joining the channel then its not going to pull the stats. I would test it on different networks. Like type a known channel on the Rizon irc network. I know the bot is not blocked at the IRC level there because it works for me and I am on Rizon.

then for the channel try #help
i would also change the bot name to something random in case its having a problem with the nick already taken
manually run the cron job and see if the stats show
if it does, then the bot may be blocked at the irc server level on your irc network

if not then, it's something on your website server end (if everything is installed/configured properly)

I took sL|forumbot for that one.
Maybe it doesn't support te '|' ?
