This modification is no longer available or supported.

This displays a page with the Top Forum Posters for a given set of periods. Two periods are fixed ('This Month' & 'Overall') but can be turned off in the options. The other three periods are user definable (in days) - the default values are 1 day, 7 days & 28 days. These three columns cannot be turned off.

The number of posters to be shown can also be set, the default is the top 10 posters. You can also select which usergroups are included (or excluded) in the count, so members in banned groups etc are not shown.

If enabled, this will also attempt to add a link to your Quick Links or Navbar. There is also an option to prefix the link path if you use something like CMPS.

To install just unzip the xml file and import it using the Product Manager

History:

v3.7.001 - First 3.7 release.
v3.7.002 - Fix counting of guest posts in certain circumstances.

Paul, I've had this installed for a number of months (both this version and the previous versions) and I love it.

I have recently discovered a problem though... my overall post counts are accurate, but on the 1 day, 7 day and 28 day columns, certain members (i.e., me specifically) have overly inflated totals.

For instance it is showing that I have 7300 posts in the last 28 days, when I only have 9500 posts over the entire last 11 months. Other users posts seem to be fine (I'm the only admin).

I am running a couple of tracking mods that post under my id in a private forum, but that forum is set to NOT include in the post totals.

Any idea?

There is no option to exclude forums from the count so how have you done that ?

Yes No
It's in the Enable / Disable Features (the same area as the settings to allow HTML or BB code in the forum.

That has no effect on this mod.

That seems to be the problem... If there are a lot of posts in a forum that doesn't get counted towards a users post count you get wildly different results in the different columns. The results in the "overall" column are correct and do not include the posts but the other time periods do which gives some mighty strange results when a 28 day total can be larger than the overall total post count.

It does affect the mod, just in an unintended way.

There is a bug while uninstalling this plugin....it leaves a blank space in vbulletin options menu. It does not remove the entry...instead after uninstalling a blank space is left.

I found that blank space is due to this plugin as on viewing source, it shows as
HTML Code:
<option value="topposters"></option>

Installation (or uninstallation) of any product is standard vb functionality, it has nothing to do with the actual mod.
