Top Posters mod for vb 3.6.

This displays a page with the Top Forum Posters for a given set of periods. Two periods are fixed ('This Month' & 'Overall') but can be turned off in the options. The other three periods are user definable (in days) - the default values are 1 day (24 hours), 7 days & 28 days. These three columns cannot be turned off.

The number of posters to be shown can also be set, the default is the top 10 posters. You can also select which usergroups are included (or excluded) in the count, so members in banned groups etc are not shown. Excluded is only available from v3.29 onwards.

If enabled, it will also attempt to add a link to your Quick Links or Navbar. There is an option to prefix this path if you use something like CMPS.

To install just unzip the xml file and import it using the Product Manager

One of my members pointed out to me that column 3 should be 14 days instead of 28 since 1 month is already listed in the next column.

In the admin I switched column 3 to 14 days and it's not changing. It's still 28.

NVM, I see now I have to edit a phrase.

JFYI, The 'this month' and '28 days' columns are not the same thing (view them on Nov 1st ).

Paul is there a way to get rid of the '28 days' column because I find it very useless? I don't need it when I've got the monthly column, you know.

This is a great utility, but it has started a fair amount of "post whoring" on my forums, while users try to break 200 posts a day and so on. Is there a way I could make this utility visible only to certain user groups - I am thinking of moderators and administrators? That way, we know what is going on, while normal users cannot see it.
