FireFly/Sinecure: AGAIN, I request the hack that you guys implemented on vb.org!!

How come that every time I request from you guys to make it a thread, you say "I'll look into it ASAP" and I never hear a thing anymore?

I Really appreciate and admire all the great work that you guys are doing everywhere, concerning vBulletin boards and all, but Why oh Why can't I get just a little hack explanation from you guys?

What I want, in case you are unsure of what I'm talking about: the hack that allows for special prefixes that work similar to "Sticky: " "Poll: " and "Moved: " to appear on ONE single forum, and that's it. I'm perfectly fine with having to hard-code the options from the pulldown menu into the .php files if necessary, just as long as I can do these two things:

* specify on which forum the prefixes appear in the newthread page and, of course, on the forumdisplay page itself;
* allow three or more custom options to choose from, for users in any usergroup _or_ make the prefix available only to moderators/admins

It'd be nice to have a "default (none)" option as default in the pull-down menu, btw.

Now, you guys Have already made this hack, and you Have implemented it here, and you Have tested it for it works and everything - can you PLEASE share it now? Please please please? The custom-prefix hack by apfeifer has so far only worked for ONE person and it ain't me, and I can't get it to work plus it isn't made to appear only on one specific forum.

I'm not releasing this hack because (my version) involves too much hacking to be distributed.

Why does it require so much hacking? Does it allow for Different custom prefixes on Different forums, or something? (i.e. one set of prefixes for forum x, another set for forum y, etc.??)

Same thread as FF linked to himself, Lubi. Even though the thread ID's are different, weird... :/

Anyway - FireFly, maybe you can help me out with that Existing hack, then? To make it so that I can specify which forum it appears on (the prefix drop-down menu) and everything??
