Disabling PM for an individual user
Hi,
What VB is missing is the ability to disable PM for an individual user but yet receive PM from the Staff ( admins and mods) Regards |

I'd like to see something like this too.

I'll put something together tomorrow that will do this.

Sorry if this is a bit of a hijack, but since this particular request targets specific users, maybe it's related:
Is there a way of extending this type of capability to limit specific users' access to a specific forum - regardless of their usergroup membership? I'm trying to find a way to have public joinable usergroups have access to a specific forum - that's easy - but occassionally, I want to be able to yank viewing capabilities from specific users without changing their membership to that usergroup. Thanks. |

AH jeez. I searched for half a day for that.
Thanks very much. That does exactly what I need. Sorry to have hijacked things. |

I suspect Alan stopped when he saw the comment about access masks.

Probably, but thats what happens when threads get hijacked instead of someone creating their own especially when its a completely unrelated topic.
