Need info on how the post cache works
I have a post that I edited on my site. If I look at the post on the board, it appears as if it was not edited. If I open it for edit, I see the changes are there already.
So, I'm assuming the post in the database is updated, but the post in the cache is not. What could be causing the discrepency? Amy |

Ajax inline editing?
Try a refresh of the page. |

I did. a couple of times. Tried a different browser and user account too. The post in question is still showing the original text.

I would try disabling all products, then check if you can duplicate it. If yes report it as a bug.

Before reporting it as a Bug i'd check the contents of post_parsed for the postid, to make 100% sure it isn't just a Browser issue.

I just checked post_parsed. It has the original text of the post. Not the edited version.
I haven't been able to duplicate the issue even with the products enabled. I've tried in the same thread, with the same text, different threads. No dice. |

Did you edit the post with vBulletin or via a query?

If I edit the post with a query, what I have to do to see correctly the new post ?
I make a request to update post cache for this post but I have a problem. Have you any idea ?? |
