Hi there, we have installed a new style on our board, however, the smilies did not change. My understanding is that we have to replace the defaults with the new ones as the style does not bring the smilies over as part of the new style.
Ok then that explains why I had to replace the default smilies to get them to show. If I remember, there were other icons that had to be manually changed as well.
Well you don't have to change them, but pretty much image dir under Style Vars has to be recreated (dif name of course) with modified images.
Good luck!
Ya I noticed under style vars there is no directory showing for smilies.
Hmmm I suppose there is probably somewhere within the templates that you could change the path for the smilies?
Thanks!

Correct, I was trying to determine if there was a way to have the new smilies carry over with the new style...So based on what style you had that determined the smilies that are used.

The easiest way is to create a new replacement variable in the custom styles that override the smilies path; that way you can specify a different smilies folder per style. Just remember to keep your smilies on a one-to-one relationship between all of the styles.

How would go about doing that, I'm not real sure how to do replacement variables or what it would even replace..
