How can I set my forum so that guests can view categories and titles but not actually read the posts?

ACP / Usergroups / Usergroup Manager
Select Usergroup Unregistered/Not logged in, click Edit
Scroll down to Forum Viewing Permissions, set Can View Thread Content = No, click Save
Done.

Please note that this does only work in vBulletin 3.5, for vBulletin 3.0 you will need a Hack.

But that does not cover Archive, Showpost, Printthread, etc.
There might be other Hacks that do, don'tknow.
