Plugins/extensions safe?
I've searched for this but didn't find anything. I was wondering how safe plugins and extensions are. Some of then require no edits at all, its all done with the upload. Does vb.org check all submitted plugins? I'm just curious cause one of the plugins I recently added had an error. When I checked what it was it still had the link the creator used on his board. Check the site out and was kind of surprised by it.

They do not check all code, although they do see alot of it, my hack has been used and helped on by a few mods here.
But any time I install a add on I look at the code. |

No, they don't check all the hacks here, and I wouldn't expect them too. That is some task to handle! The best thing to do in your situation is post in the plug-in thread and tell the author the problem your having. This way the author can quickly fix the bug, if there is one. Or tell you what you may be doing wrong in the installation.
