2 Different forums smae database.

I have a forum up and running. What my goal is, is to have another full forum using the same database but not using the same thread/posts but the same users.

For example :

I have xxxxx.com/mainforum as my forum running now and I want to create another forum (the whole forum) at lets say xxxxx.com/mainforum/otherforum where this forum is a fresh forum just like if I were to first install the software but have the same users and not posts/threads. I read this somewhere on here but could not find it with the search. Can this be done and if so, how can I do it?

This can be done, but is not as easy as it sounds, and it will probably be a custom job that not many people will do for free.

For example: how would you handle the users postcounts?

Hmmm, good question. Do you know of any alternative hacks that are out there now, that may seems some what like this?
