Total views fix...
Hello, I tried my luck by installing a vb2 hack here called Total Views. I put it on my board, and *shock* it doesn't work quite right. I mean, it doesn't update the total views when I refresh.
http://www.clangrounds.com right hand side column under Posts This is the hack I installed, I put the first step in phpinclude_start instead of phpinclude: http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mo...ead.php?t=2315 |

The views seems to work for me.

Yes, but how exactly is it updating? I mean when I refresh the page the view count doesn't increase...

Well, this must be because you are using a vB2 mod for a vB3. The phpinclude system is different.

Just curious, the instructions for that hack say to add it to the PHPInclude. Do I add it to the PHP Include Start or End for VB3?

When I add it to PHP Include Start, I get
Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0 Beta 6: Invalid SQL: SELECT SUM(views) AS totalviews FROM thread mysql error: Table 'valley.thread' doesn't exist mysql error number: 1146 |
