what are you talking about? (where on the page), because i don't see where its blinding... Ive never got that before.. Can i have some others imput before i go changing the colors :-/.

The colour you have used is actually rather nice. It has an invigorating effect - which is what you are looking for if you want ppl to be active on the site.
The blinding effect however I think is produced through your background color being in too much of a contrast. Perhaps if you could spruce up the background color, or alternatively reduce the foreground colors, it would blend a little softer into the eye. -quinte- |

The graphics add alot of the blinding feeling I think, maybe try to use a less strong purple for your image gradients instead of what you are now.
