In the Postbit
... How might i get effects like these
1. The first is where all of the users information is how would you be able to put that gradient there? That would be a great help to me. 2. How did they get the images to balance out with al the info of the profile and the +buddy buttons. I guess my question would be how do you get the images and the imae background to even out?? |

I don't think there was a mod for the author column gradient.
Go into your CP - Postbit Template. Find this: <table cellpadding="{tableouterborderwidth}" cellspacing="0" border="0" bgcolor="{tablebordercolor}" {tableouterextra} width="{contenttablewidth}" align="center"><tr><td> <table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="{tableinnerborderwidth}" border="0" {tableinnerextra} width="100%"> <tr> <td bgcolor="$post[backcolor]" width="175" valign="top" nowrap> <a name="post$post[postid]"></a> $post[firstnewinsert] <normalfont><b>$post[username]</b></normalfont><br> <smallfont>$post[usertitle]</smallfont><br> $post[avatar]<p> <smallfont>Registered: $post[joindate]<br> Location: $post[field2]<br> Posts: $post[posts]</smallfont></td> Now see where the <td> line is? This is it: <td bgcolor="$post[backcolor]" width="175" valign="top" nowrap> Change the $post[backcolor] to the url of the gradient. This will add the background to the author column but the post part of the postbit will still alternate unless changed. |
