VB.org is custom coded but I made a hack to use the same Java applets and stuff.. Basicly its exactly the same... Check it out here:

Flashchat is the best IMO, only 5$ but very good

flashchat has got a terrible lag problem.
I got it too as it looked grt. But now all members are complaining of lags. Even iedited the refresh time to 0.2 secs in that. And now members getting variable lag.

How many users did it take on at once to cause this trouble? I just installed it and suspect it will always be a low use tool.

It depends on your server load. Flashchat works by polling the server at a preset interval for any new messages (usually 2/3 seconds). Setting it to 0.2 seconds, as done above, would be a very bad idea.
