VB editor ourside of vb? - wishful thinking?
Hey guys,
Im dipping into the realm of site integration (more like bellyflopping, but thats another story ) and i have come across a few barriers with the whole schmozzle. What im trying/thinking of doing is grabbing the neat little editor form (not wysiwyg) thing and placing it on my site which then makes a post to the db. The reason for me doing it this way instead of just posting the a forum reply/create scenario as extra info needs to be submitted to another db. First of all, im not sure if im allowed to. It would still be used as a VB thing, and i wouldnt be using it for a non-related html area (or reselling it). Secondly, i have had a little play around and its quite hard as it the function is included on the page.. and its all relative directories, when obviously this page is outside the forums. Does such a thing exist (pushing my luck at best) or has someone done extensive work with this? lol I would even settle for a 'bbcode' type editor from a 3rd party or the likes.. im just trying to find something which will those less inclined types some guidance Any responses are greatly appreciated. - MARK |

yes it's been done a few times in various hacks but never released a standalone hack.
